Here you can find answers to the questions we receive most often.
1. What is Civiqa?

Civiqa is a platform for smart governance in Public Administration. It helps public institutions focus on the needs of territories, measure the impacts of policies and projects — both ex-ante and ex-post — plan territorial initiatives more effectively, and report on the public funds that support them.

2. Who is Civiqa for?

Civiqa is designed for public sector professionals working on territorial analysis and development, particularly in municipalities, groups of municipalities, provinces and regions. It is typically used by staff working in planning, territorial development, budgeting, public funding and policy.

3. What type of decisions can Civiqa support?

The platform helps guide decisions on investments, territorial policies and public planning, thanks to comparable indicators, territorial analyses and comparative scenarios.

4. What is the difference between Data Room, Insights and the platform core (Evaluations and Public Funding)?

Data Room is the free diagnostic module: it collects public data and transforms them into indicators that provide a snapshot of how a territory is performing compared with others.

Insights offer editorial analysis produced by Civiqa: data-driven readings that help understand ongoing transformations in territories.

The platform core — Evaluation and Public Funding — provides access to tools for analysing territories (including ESG analysis, impact assessment and cost-benefit analysis) and to functionalities for reporting public funds, according to a SaaS licensing model.

5. Do I need a technical team to use the platform?

No. Civiqa is designed to be used by professionals working in Public Administration even without advanced technical skills.

The interface, interactive charts and dashboards guide users in interpreting data and building analyses useful for the decision-making process.

6. Does Civiqa replace internal systems used in Public Administration?

No. Civiqa does not replace existing internal systems used by public institutions, nor is it another management tool. It works alongside them as an analytical and decision-support platform for strategic planning and communication.

7. How can it help with planning and access to public funding?

Civiqa helps identify investment priorities, prepare the technical documentation required to access funding calls (for example through cost-benefit analysis) and simplify the reporting of public resources.

8. Is the platform already available?

The platform will be released progressively during summer 2026. You can join the waiting list to receive updates and gain early access to the new modules.

9. How much does Civiqa cost?

The software license varies depending on the selected modules. Contact us to learn more.

10. Can I start using Civiqa now?

You can already sign up for free access to Data Room and explore that module to familiarise yourself with the platform interface.

You can also join the waiting list to receive updates on the release of the full platform and its availability.
